It’s a word that is spoken about a lot in every realm in my life. Mentors, coworkers, managers, doctors, family members (need I go on?) All are saying I need to practice mindfulness. As near as I can tell it means meditating, and the word sounds a little less intimidating. I am really not good at it. I think I am on track and all of the sudden I am up and doing and worrying about something different.
I think I might try some structured breathing with a video or app of some kind. I really don’t think it could hurt by trying.

It is about now. Find the balance within you, within the now. Reach down from inside you all the way to your toes.
relax and let now flow around you.
I have shared the meditation I use that works for me. Sit alone and quiet. Deep breaths.
I have been doing that and I slow down a bit, but my mind does not.
