Maroon Plassiflora – Passion Flower

The plassiflora is one of the fascinating vines I have come across. The blooms are stunning in appearance and have so much detail to it. I wish I could have as many vines as I would like, but sadly my terrace garden limits me greatly with the limited space available.

I found this plant at the nursery where I buy all my gardening material. It was quite pricey, but  I really have no more space for flowering plants. I prefer not to reduce the space allocated for my herb and veggie garden. For all you know I might still get the plant the next time I go garden shopping. 😀

I had earlier posted pictures of the red passion flower In my friends garden. Take a look if you are so inclined  https://virily.com/virily_poll/color-crazy-red-passion-flower/

  1. Up to this point, I knew only the blue passion flower, dear friend … I didn’t know there was a red one … it’s a beautiful flower

    • Grace, I don’t buy diamonds. I would if I had the place. I have about 2000 sq feet of terrace and all used up, Maybe I could make space for it by taking out one of my plumerias or bougainvilleas. Its tough . LOL

        • Hmm.. I have been mulling this over and over again in my head. The bougainvillea can become a bonsai and the passion flower can come in. Thanks for the suggestion Grace 🙂
