I am not surprised reading some of the comments about mangoes coming from some of my learned friends. I agree that mangoes are not available in some countries or grown in every country.
However, India is one of the major mango growing country and exports its produce to almost every country in the world.
India has a large variety of mangoes produced in a large area. There are at least 1500 varieties of different colors. I have two trees of mangoes and two trees of pomegranate both laden with fruits.
My quest is if you wanted to pluck any of these what would be your choice?

Both , according to the season
this is tough, I like them both. gonna haveta go mango…
Would have to go with mango. Pomegranates are not a favorite.
The pomegranate is very under-rated as a fruit. I pick the pomegranate.
I like them both but I would go with the seasonal one now – the mango.
Very difficult for me to choose !
We don’t have pomegranate in our place so I would probably choose it. We have a lot of Indian mangoes nowadays because of the long summer.
Very difficult for me to choose, I love both but mangos don’t grow in my country and as I have two pomegranate trees I think I will pick pomegranate.
I like the freshly squeezed juice of the pomegranate, the Mango I prefer chopped up with natural yogurt.
