It’s candy making day. My family loves orange sticks, raspberry sticks, blueberry sticks and even lemon sticks. Bro has a birthday tomorrow and he always wants some sticks. I learned how to make them because you usually can’t buy them easily this time of year.
Since I have to do it anyway I am going to double batch them and put a few in the neighbors treat boxes. It shouldn’t take more than a couple hours to get them done and the laundry can be washing while I am making candy.

Do you ever make candy?

No

Yes I make candy but more around Christmas.
That is typically when I do it as well. Since it’s looking less likely Bro will be here then, I am moving things up a bit.
They look really good! I love eating candies
we try not to make candy as much now, but when the kids were little we made all sorts of things. My all-time favorite was chocolate drizzled pretzels!
I do love those. I tend to make them for birthdays and Thanksgiving. That’s about it. Probably because I have become lazy!
A lazy Ghostwriter only works 19 hours a day.
🙂
Yes, but a lot of my work is really not done well – I have to fix things all the time!
it happens to all of us, we have good days and bad days.
you remain my hero!
Looks yummy, how to make those sticks?
You make the center from fruit and gelatin and then dip it in all kinds of chocolate or even powdered sugar.
I have never made candy. The candy you’re making sounds very delicious,
I like them. I can’t make them too often because I like them a little too much.
Every now and then I make fudge or brownies.
That sounds fabulous.
