I have yet to start my journey to take part in ‘days’ photos but looking at Ileana Calotescu‘s Wenesday shadow photo I remembered mine and hence hasten to share it here although it is already Thursday.
I was on the terrace around early noon and wanted to capture those marigolds in my camera and least did I know I would have my shadow in there.
I will not trade this photo for anything in the world. And yes I did not plan this photo.

I posted a shadow photograph a few days ago,
I visit all your posts and must have surely seen it
I love this photo, a really good shot..fabulous..
This was a pleasant surprise. I did not expect it.
I also have some shadow photos but it is in my archive right now.
You can always search for them and post here.
You, know Grace, it’s funny but I think photos that show our shadows show more of our true selves than photos that actually show us. I look over old photos and those where my late husband’s or both of our shadows have been captured choke me up more than those with smiling faces.
I did not even know there would be a shadows of mine in that photo but I cherish this photo
Yes I have many shadow photos, a good one here.
Did you plan that way or the just came like this one you see!
It’s a nice photo, but for a successful selfie shadow it is best to take the picture without anything else drawing attention. The shadow is beautiful but the flowers, because of their color, catch the eyes more! I hope you don’t mind my “advice”.? I love marigolds!
(lol) I never planned to take my shadow. It just happened. I was clicking marigolds.
