This photo was taken near the entrance of Postojna Cave in southwestern Slovenia. Despite the cave being one of the top tourist spots in the country, I was able to spend quite a relaxing time by the Pivka River. I miss this lush greenery of late spring now that’s winter. You can read more about the cave in the linked post.

They are both my favorites too, but lately I prefer spring.
i can understand that! thanks for sharing this!
I love both, spring and autumn. Green here still, thank goodness.
That’s nice! Winter here can get very gray.
i know.. and I have learned also the importance of sun.
Weatherwise everything is moderate here.
That’s really nice! I like the variety in seasons, but we often experience crazy amplitudes even within the day.
Beautiful photos. I see winter and brown grass around me now.
Thank you very much! It’s the same here. I don’t like snow much, but without it winter looks even sadder.
I prefer spring. I see you’ve watched a piece of my beautiful country. ?
I loved it in Slovenia, I hope I can spend more time and visit more places there some day!
Although Slovenia is a small country, it has many beautiful and interesting places.
That’s true! Apart form Postojna Cave, we visited the Predjama Castle and Ljubljana.
If you have the opportunity, visit Bled and Bohinj.
They both seem like breath-taking places, I’d love to visit them
I missed such greenery so much. Nice photo for the challenge.
Thank you very much! The winter days without snow can be quite gray and boring.
