The botanical name of this plant is Bryophyllum pinnatum. It is also sometimes wrongly called an air plant because it propagate plants from its leaves. The other common names for these plants are cathedral bells, life plant, miracle leaf, and Goethe plant.
The name miracle leaf comes again from the hundreds of plants that grow from its leaves. These are beautiful flowering succulents popular for their showy flowers. These plants flower once in their life time but make a great impression.
This plant has been known to be dangerous to animals. It may not be safe around babies, pets and farm animals.

The flowers are beautiful! You really have many photos of beautiful plants!
I don’t dare to have toxic plants in my garden as I have young children at home.
It’s so beautiful, it’s a pity it’s toxic. We should be careful with plants when we have kids or animals.
I know the plant but I didn’t what it’s called or whether it is toxic. Now I know.
Now you know introvert. 😀
It is a wonderful plant, dear friend
Thank you Lado, for your positive comments.
My pleasure, ,my dear friend
I have no pets or animals outside and my neighbor has this beautiful flower.
Carol your neighbor seems to have a lot of tropical plants.
i removed everything that is bad for dogs from our back yard.
Doc, most of the time dogs don’t even care about plants. At the most they might dig around them , ingestion is what causes trouble.
sadly that is not always true of Labs. Ours will eat anything including plants.
Since everything in my garden dies, I don’t worry about much.
Hmm that is so sad, I guess it is just a matter of experience.
I too have a kalancheo but they look different from this I wrote on that recently and remember you commenting on it.
There are a few hundred varieties of Kalanchoes, I think you had posted a picture of kalanchoe blossfeldiana along the walkway if I remember right.
