There is a difference between listening and hearing. When we listen, we actually are able to understand the position the other person is in. When we hear, we often come up with solutions to the problem. The two are sometimes very hard to separate. i know that I often hear, and I am working on listening!

yes we often discuss being inattentive when the other is talking. it can be hard when the world is floating around you!!!
