This is a city i have been to for work and personal trips. The last personal trip was for a difficult and emotional reason, the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) honored my father two years after his passing with a lifetime achievement award.
We (my mother, sisters, brothers-in-law and two of our nieces) went to Nashville to be at the dinner where the award was given to my mother on behalf of my father.
we had a lot of fun on our short trip. My wife and I arrived first and wandered the downtown Library!

I know that Nashville is famous for its music industry. The Black Keys and Jack White live in Nashville because of the music industry.
it is the heart of country music in the US. One of the coolest things is the Grand Old Opry! oh yeah and CarolDM lives there (another cool thing!)
That´s great. There is a television series called Nashville, it is about country music stars but I have not watched it a lot.
I suspect it probably had an interesting take on country music!

Of course I love the city. I have been here many years now. Sad to see downtown shutdown. I hope the businesses can survive. The city has so much to offer everyone. You have memories of the city as well.
