Have you heard of a Tangelo? We buy the Honeyballs and they are delicious. Small like a tangerine but seedless.
A deliciously sweet fruit most often mistaken for an unusually shaped orange, the tangelo is a bright red-orange hybrid of a tangerine and grapefruit. With an unmistakable sweetness countered by a tart aftertaste (courteous of its grapefruit ancestor), tangelos are the size of a fist and topped by a characteristic knob. Alternatively known as Honeyballs, tangelos are seedless, easy to peel and have a thick skin similar that of oranges.
This bowl full of Tangelos is on my countertop for a good healthy snack.

I have never really checked whether there is such fruit in my place, but it seems very appetizing.
They are very tasty, sweet and seedless Albert.
Yesterday, when I asked about the fruit, I was laughed at by my wife and two daughters. “You are forgetful, Daddy.” Apparently, I’ve often eaten the fruit without knowing its name except thinking of it as another type of orange.
I have not heard of this fruit yet
They are very good Branka.
Where I live they are called cuties.
That is another brand of the same thing, delicious!
We do not have Tangelo
But in winter we use citrus: oranges lemon, grapefruit.,and pomegranate.
This is small, like a tangerine, a small seedless orange.
I understand your description of fruit,
But we do not import it and we do not have it on the market.
Wow they do look ao good and juicy
Yes they are sweet and delicious.

Yes they are delicious and healthy. 🙂
I have not heard of this fruit yet … we have Clementines
Not a huge difference:
Tangerine: Tangerines are small citrus fruits with deep red-orange skins that are thin and easy to peel.
Clementine: Clementines are small and light orange, with a soft but thick skin.
Tangerine: Tangerines are not as tart as oranges, but not as sweet as mandarins either.
Clementine: Clementines are the sweetest of the mandarins, and seedless.
I’ve not heard of a tangelo before. But I can see they look like tangerines. I would like to try one though.
Yes they are just like tangerines to me. Love them.
I do not know this citrus Tangelos
They are very delicious and sweet.
Is it like a mandarin?
Mandarins
Mandarins originated from southern China where they were cultivated for more than 3,000 years. They were initially pursued for their fragrance and reserved for royalty and the wealthy. Mandarins are usually eaten raw and they make a convenient snack food as they peel easily and can be broken into pieces without needing a knife.
Tangelos are a cross between a mandarin and a grapefruit. The first recorded example of a tangelo tree was grown in the late 19th century in the United States. The fruit looks and peels like a mandarin but has slightly more acid tartness thanks to the grapefruit. Mineolas are the key variety of tangelo grown in Australia. They are tasty fresh as well as in marmalade and cordial.
Thanks for the explanation my dear friend
Now, I have to go to the store and get some.
It will be worth the trip Brenda. 🙂
I am not very familiar with them, but I generally like citrus fruits.
You would like these, they are small and seedless.
