This is a rare photograph of two very special people, Jacqueline, or Jackie, Bouvier who is staring upward with unbridled adoration into the friendly face of the man who would become a President of the United States of America, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, while vacationing at Cape Cod, on the 4th of July in 1953.

Camelot ends in sadness, my father cried the Day JFK died. I was very young but I remember the years. It was the only time I saw my father cry.
That indeed is a rare photo.
I thought so too Grace. Thanks for commenting. 🙂
that is a wonderful photo and so sad that their relationship took such a tragic end. I often wondered what drew her to Onassis who seemed the complete opposite of Kennedy. I wondered if it was really only the money and if she got any from him when he died.
Hello, Sandra thanks for commenting. I think he looked after her very well, financially.
