I decided to try something new this evening. I just opened up and latest and made some comments. I am not certain how it will work out. I think it would be nice to make some friends, however I don’t need troubles. I am at an age where troubles are not good.

You made a very important step! Most people here are friendly. Even if you don’t get a response, don’t take it personally. People are only responsible for their own actions.

I will tell you honestly from my experience. I tried that too, but unfortunately it did not work (every once in a while I try but to no avail). So I started commenting regularly and watching posts from friends who returned my views and comments. Slowly my circle of friends was expanding. I’m older too, but I’m not worried about it ?
Don’t be disappointed if you get just a couple of responses, just continue chatting and you will get more comments with each day.
