rise to dwarf you to eclipse you
insignificant as you stand
in the shadow of my shadow
eclipsed. Breathe
take in the smell of
fish
and water that sitting
quietly waiting
the rumble of the rock
prayed loose from a million years
of clinging
letting go
fingers white with clenching
as they fall
to crash into oblivion
far below.
stand in that shadow
stand beneath the mountain
and know you are small.
