Travelling is a good way to get out and release some stress… There are many different kinds of “travellers”.
Some prefers a packed schedule and visit as many places as possible while some prefers to have a relax trip with a relax schedule…
However, no matter what kind of travellers you’re, you’ll have to find a place to stay…

I normally pick someone cheap, but not overly cheap because I do love cleanliness.
I usually stay with friends. I do not spend money on hotels
hah, that’s very interesting 😉

generally when I travel, it is to visit friends or relations, so I just stay at their place
Oh, that’ll save a lot on lodging…
mostly I just don’t travel- it saves even more
I tend to go to either extreme. My favorite places to spend a night on the road are campsites accessible with my America the Beautiful senior pass so those are free, and that is also my favorite price! But if I am going to spend money I like Boutique Hotels or quaint Bed & Breakfast Inns. One of my favorite B & B’s used to be a church and is lovely with stained glass windows in every room.
Oh, I haven’t been to campsites… but the B & B with stained glass sounds really romantic and beautiful!!
For me, it depends on who I travel with.
Oh i see… Hmm… what if you’re traveling alone?
Traveling alone? I prefer to be free and relaxed without a schedule but have to get special experience when visiting or doing something.
Love that Hard Rock Cafe hotel in your photo. Probably could not afford that one.
I price shop but at the same time will only stay in reputable chains and good
neighborhoods. You have to be very careful these days.
I do agree… security is very important… also location too…
I’d like to stay somewhere convenient and not too expensive
Great topic alibb! Sorry it seems that I have been missing some of your posts. It has not been showing up in the latest posts for me. We try to stay in motels during certain months.
No worries, I face those problem too…
I’d like to try motel too… so far haven’t been to one yet
