I like the bright/light one because to see the “shine” on the ribbon and the jewelry
I tried to bring that into the medium one as well
I just love the shadow here as well.
light and shadows are my primary concern
So the winner is with light.. yeheeeeeey!!!!!

there were a lot of issues with the original, but the concept was solid so I kept working with it off and on until I had a resolution

Perfect, I liked the darker just a little better, because, It made the scene more mysterious. Love them both though.
yeah, for online viewing a darker image is probably the best solution

On a technical level, I agree with your assessment but on a conceptual level, the darker versions work better…
