I checked out my dashboard! We got out my calculator and looked at the way things are standing. We did the math. And here is the conclusion we came up with. If I write five posts a day and things stay as they are, I will be paid $10.03 on September 6th, 2021! Yippeee!
Why Yipeee, some of you may say. Well, money is nice and necessary. It is needed for physical survival the way the world works now. However, the survival of the soul and emotional health is more complicated than what money does.
Friendship, learning, growing emotionally, learning how to communicate, reaching out to others and learning are very important. You can’t measure that in pennies. There is not a monetary value you can put on a smile or a tear that falls because your heart was touched. Those things can’t be purchased. They come from the heart.
I suppose that is why I come here. I feel like I have an extended family and they are willing to teach me new things, comment on my work, remind me when I am heading for a trainwreck, and a million other priceless that I have only been able to find right here. I am eternally grateful for the good, the bad and the ugly that we have all shared together. Thank you for being a part of our world.

I hope I can make a payout by the end of September due to losing so much time in August. Every little bit helps for me but I also enjoy the sites because of the friends I have online and to get to know what everyone else is up to.

It is a good thing we do not depend on this site to earn a living, that is for sure. I think we have all known that for awhile. I have met many friends here.
i was laughing reading your impression of the old Steve Martin routine (if I fill a 100,000 seat stadium and charge a dollar a ticket i would make 100,000 dollars. But if i filled a 500 seat auditorium and charge 100,000 per ticket, i would make a lot more!)
