Sharing a photo with today’s Friday Black & White challenge. I have written about this critter seen in my backyard many times. I wonder if anyone remembers. If so, can you guess below what you think this critter is called?
Trying something a little different for today’s challenge. Hopefully you will all play along and just take a guess. All for fun. Even if you don’t know, guess, you might be right.
One hint, I only see these in the summer in my backyard.

I was not sure at first but then I saw the answer, and indeed I was right so I went back and voted.
Cicada is a strange name to me. It must be a wasp, my guess.
The correct answer is a Cicada.
a loud bug that appears en masse every 15 or so years!

They are so very irritating. If I had added that hint, many would have known the answer.

Our family is so simple we are calling it a bug and we are anxious to know the correct answer.
