One of the reasons that I like to go through the Goodreads Choice Awards is that ordinary, regular readers get to vote on the books they liked the best. I make it a goal each year to read the top three books in each category. I think it is important to keep up on reading and I think it helps the brain stay active.
I am a little behind already. Well all the things happening in my family, I didn’t get started on New Years Day and that is when I normally begin.
Today this book came and it is where I will begin. This is the winner of the category of Best Fiction.

She is a great writer. Goodreads is fun for the reader engagement, I agree!
I am studying Margaret Atwood. I have one subject that is “Canadian Literature in English” and I have to study her, she is very important in the history of Canadian Literature.
I joined Goodreads a long time ago and I have a page with one or both of my poetry books. It just seems that I have so much going on I don’t get in there a lot but I get notices in my email. Right now I am going through the Bones series of books by Kathy Reich that was the idea for the TV series Bones
I should read more but I cannot seem to focus.
I often have to read a page a couple of times. I think it gets harder.
I find it harder to read on a device as well.
I’m behind on my, rather excessive, book aim for the year. Partly because the “book” I am reading is six books in one and on my Fire tablet; I don’t read as quickly on electronic devices.
That is interesting. Care to share what book you are reading?
Dark Space: The Complete Series (Books 1-6) by Jasper T. Scott and Aaron Sikes. It was £0.99.
I read Rise Of Mankind: The Complete Series Books 1-10 by John Walker because it was also £0.99.
