Posted on Tuesday about my orange tulips, you can see it here if you missed it. Got lots of comments, which I appreciate each one very kindly, but one in particular got my attention.
Doc commented….. “Love these can you share a picture that shows where they are in your entire garden?”
As requested, I snapped a photo of the corner garden in the front, weeds and all. Those are Nandina bushes behind the tulips (I have posted about these here before). There are Day Lilies behind the tulips as well that have not bloomed yet. And you can see part of a miniature spruce tree to the far left. Sometimes it is decorated for Christmas.
You can also see directly to the left of the tulips are the black tulips (Queen of the Night I posted about today) before they budded and got ready to bloom. So there you go, a quick glimpse of a section of my front garden. The grass is just starting to fill in nice and green but has a way to go, as it is still early in the season.

It’s a beautiful photo. Thank you for sharing it with us. I love to see everything or the whole place and I also love to see a detailed one.
I love the photographer quality ones of the close ups but it is cool to see it all put together. So I clicked yes to both.
Same here Kim, I posted this at Don’c request. 🙂
I’ll say, anything you prefer!
Whether the entire or just a flower, all are beautiful and candy for the eyes!
Thank you so much, how kind of you. I prefer macros most of the time for the detail.
Hehe, you know I’m having fun with my macro lens recently too :p
Yes your photos are stunning!
I love both in close-up and bouquet
Thanks, so do I, good to see you.
I actually love close-up photo of flowers and plants because it enables me to appreciate the details. Travel photos I like to see the background more than my own face ?
I enjoy both as well, I have a tendency to go for the macros, you can see so much more detail.
Can I say I love both! 🙂
Is the wall behind brick or stone?
That is my home and it’s brick. 🙂
Nice! It is hard to tell it is more than a wall because of the angle.
Yes it is hard with all of the foliage.
thanks for sharing, really enjoyed both views of the flower~
Beautiful looking bloom and garden. Here we had one last huge snowstorm which wrecked havoc with power lines down and some 250,000 Quebec residents without power 2 days ago. But now the sun is out and they predict 14 degrees centigrade (57 Fahrenheit) for the weekend. Most people are happy except for little old me. I already miss winter… But there is nothing I can do about it except comment on how lovely your front garden is…
Thanks, I usually post macros for the details but showing something a little different today, weeded and all! Your weather sounds different than ours. We have 70s F and rain today. I miss winter already.
Your garden is beautiful. I want to look at every picture
You are so kind, thank you so much for your support.
The picture is wonderful, dear Carol…take picture and publish what you like
Thanks, I like it both ways but prefer the macros and the detail.
Anything you post’re happy to look, dear friend
