Frozen Peanuts ~ Nature Tuesday

We got a light dusting of snow last night. Kind of odd weather in  November. The peanuts in the bird feeder were frozen to the snow. With gloves on, I got the snow out so the birds could have peanuts today.

The bird bath is frozen solid. I will get to that later, after the sun thaws it out a bit.

We also have freezing temperatures again tonight. Winter has arrived early in my world.

I know some of you are enjoying summer and hot weather. I still prefer the cold over hot temperatures any day, as long as I can stay inside off the dangerous icy roads.

    • Yes, birds love these peanuts, they will often put two in their mouth at once, fly away to a tree and eat them. Sometimes they will bury them for later.
