The word slide has many meanings but do you remember the structure children used to climb up and slide down from. Here in the park lawns we have some lovely flowery slides . The gardeners in the park have designed the sides as if the flowers are sliding down from the container on top.
The flowers on each slide is different making it a riot of colors. Zinnias, marigolds, celosia, anthirrum and anthuriums were some of the flowers used.
Butterflies were having a great time around the Zinnias. Children seemed real happy to watch the slides from a distance as they were barricaded. A little child was begging his mother to take him to the slide.

A very ingenious, creative, colorful and unusual way to show off flowers. Absolutely gorgeous….but it is too bad the kids cannot enjoy sliding down them….
Hahha its good that the kids can’t go sliding down. Those pretty flowers will become a mess.
