Found this feather in my yard last week. I think it is a mockingbird feather. It is really cool to find a feather and try to identify where it came from. I see a lot of birds in my yard but from the size of this one, kind of small, and the colors gray and white, I came to the conclusion it is from a mockingbird.
Gray and grey are two different spellings of the same word, and both are used throughout the English speaking world. I often wonder which spelling to use. I suppose it is a personal preference.

Sorry you are having problems. Thank you!
Really like the feather in black & White or else in colour
Thanks, I was surprised at how it turned out.
It really looks better in BW! Thanks Carol!
I agree, it shows more detail I believe.
It really does show a lot of detail in B&W
You never know how a color photo will turn out. Thanks again and have a great day.
Thanks! You have a wonderful day as well.
I use either spelling depending on my mood
Yes, same here but it can be confusing with some words.
I did not find the pens for quite some time.
Thanks and have a great weekend.
Wow, that’s perfect! ?
I tend to use “grey” the most because schools in Europe teach British English. There are words I prefer to say in American English, especially those that resemble my native language.
Well thank you! Yes words can be very tricky.
I remember this feather, dear friend … or is not it pigeon?
I don’t have pigeons but doves, and it could be from a dove.
Beautiful photo. Just yesterday I read a quote about feather, which more or less says that if you find it means your guardian angel is always watching over and guard you. I think you’ve also posted a kind of quote.
Thank you, I have read quotes similar and I believe that. I wrote recently about finding a feather and added a quote…. yes I did.

Hmm the one about feathers colour and their meaning …?
Ok I cheated, I went back to your posts and searched for it!! :p
Yes you do remember, I added this photo to the post as well. Oh you! But that is ok, thanks for the effort.
But I remember that feather post, just didn’t remember the feather was in it …
you’ll forgive a 1GB brain storage, right?
Absolutely, I can’t remember what day it is most of the time. 🙂
Successful editing in black and white.
Thank you so much Elenka.
