We have all been told we should eat our vegetables. I like vegetables, and can eat them as a meal without any meat. I especially like fresh vegetables. We always had a fresh garden growing up and there is nothing like fresh vegetables from the garden to the table. Vegetables are very healthy but there are also myths out there you may not be aware of. It is good to research and know more about what you eat.

I am lucky because vegetables and fruits are abundant in my country, but just still needs to be alert with fertilizer and various cheating traders.
You are lucky, it is very seasonal here.
Great poll, we all need to eat more veggies. I wish they were readily available here. You can go to the grocery stores to buy them but they do not taste like anything, picked to green, and not good. I have to wait for our occasional fruit market.
Oh and our packaged vegetables are packed full of added sugar, salt and GMO.
I am surprised you cannot find fresh vegetable year round with your warm weather.
Very nice poll. Don’t try and staunch a bleed with hot chilli peppers though. Seriously!
I would never try that either Norman.
I’m glad to hear it! I couldn’t help thinking of that when you wrote, “Peppers (all kinds) are actually an excellent choice when it comes to dealing with cuts.” I know how much it hurts when I’m chopping chillies and some juice gets at a cut 🙂
I was trying to say banana peppers, bell peppers, etc. Did not think of hot peppers.
I am an extremely picky eater…I don’t like vegetables (except potatoes which are not low carb). I can have spinach but only if I have it in a smoothie and disguise the taste with other tastes. I know it’s not very healthy….but I am doing a carnivore diet.
Great poll though, very informative!!
Thanks for visiting and commenting.
That is kind of odd you can only have spinach in a smoothie? Oh, you mean because of the taste? I put vinegar on mine and it helps.
Actually because of the texture…I don’t mind the taste really. It’s just so much easier to drink (especially the amount I need)
I understand, there are certain food I cannot eat due to texture, like garbanzo beans!
Very interesting poll! Unfortunatelly, I can’t stand onions. 🙁
I don’t like them raw but love to cook with them.
I need to eat more vegetables but the only one that I like is avocado 🙁
Thanks for the informative poll.
Yes we all need vegetables every day if possible. Thanks for commenting.
I prefer raw vegetables to fruit
I like them both. Thanks!
Thanks for all of your comments friend.
