Rain and more rain here for days now. But the sun came out for maybe two minutes earlier. I quickly snapped this photo of the Dude as he chilled in the screen room. Birdwatching and listening to the wind. He is mesmerized by the wind. I know animals can smell things and hear things we cannot, so who knows what is going on in his brain right now!

I guess I should be more afraid of rain than my animals … but strong wind have blown a cage off the hook and then the cage and bird fell to death :/

Cats can observe and are much more curious
Yes indeed, I enjoy having mine around.
I am sure that the interest of cats (and other animals) in nature is greater than ours. Certainly according to their conditions.
I watch my two and even though they have different personalities they pay close attention to the same nature and changes in the weather, and they stay indoors all the time but still are in tuned with nature.
You have clarified what I mean.
For now, the weather is great for me. My canary enjoys the sun on our terrace.
Have you talked and shared about your canary before?
Animals are smarter about some natural things than humans, they know when a natural disarster comes before we do.
They are smarter than most give credit for I believe.
Just look at you Dude. You look so relaxed even though your eyes are probably darting from side to side with the birds. I just love the black sheen of your coat. My orange tabby cat Runt would make the perfect contrast sitting or lying beside you. Have a good Dude and you too Carol.
You are his biggest fan my friend. And he loves the attention. 🙂
Storms spooky my cats, and they run around like crazy cats lol.
Yes they are just scared, something different.
We still have a nice, sunny weather so that Miki enjoyed them in the sun.
That is great, cats always enjoy the sun.
