Sharing a photo of the resident state park owl Cotton. She was rescued from the snow by a park ranger. Her wings were injured and she can never be in the wild again. But she is well taken care of at the park.
Every animal has his or her story, his or her thoughts, daydreams, and interests. All feel joy and love, pain and fear, as we now know beyond any shadow of a doubt. ~Ingrid Newkirk

What a lovely Owl, very beautiful photo.
The owl looks very happy.
And I choose to believe she is happy.
Through you, the owl has given a message of wisdom for us.
How kind of you to share that perspective my friend.
Hello sweet Cotton. Hope you are doing well but it does look like it. The park is the safest place to be for you right now. Take care sweetie pie… Now Carol I expect you to deliver this message word for word… Just a joke…
Isn’t she a sweetie! I never want to leave when I go visit. She has a friend next door but I am not sure how close they can get to each other.
And thank you again for your kind words on my posts.
I LOVE owls. In fact I was going to post here; but I’ll post on MyLot. We have a couple of owls that visit every so often at night and hoot, hoot, hoot.
Same here and I visit this one often, just down the road. I never hear them at night.
How nice to be able to visit Cotton whenever you want. Beautiful owl.
Yes and now he has a friend in a cage beside him.
The owl is a unique bird, dear friend
Yes I agree with you my friend. Very special like most animals. i love them all.
The owls are birds that are placed on a pedestal in Spain. There is no house missing her statuette.
I am sure they are well taken care of in your country.
Beautiful Owl , Thank you for sharing Black & White Friday
She certainly is, and thank you for your visit.
Have a great rest of the weekend.
