Beyond the Bright Sea written by Lauren Wolk is the story of a child that is looking for her birth parents. It’s an emotional and exciting journey from the perspective of a child. This book in relevant in our family. We have grandchildren who were adpoted when they were three days old. They are now 17. Every week for the twins whole life, I wrote a letter to them and sent it to the agency. This year they can decide if they want to have those letters.
So this book was intersting for our entire family.

nice poll btw…….. i like what u post
No to the first two and yes to the last one. I know of many adopted friends who have met their birth parents and they all get along. Sometimes not a help tending but sometimes yes!
I am excited to meet the twins, but no real expectations.
I answered NO to your 2nd question although I don’t have any 1st hand experience adopting a child. I have friends who have adopted more than one child. So I figure even if some may think the adoption process was complicated, it wasn’t complicated to stop these people from showing their love for the child,
Got it. And thank you so much for the comment. It’s appreciated.
