I love chestnuts and this year for the first time my chestnut tree has some to harvest. These in the picture are my first ones.
Chestnut trees are trees that take a long time to grow: only at 25 or 30 years they begin to bear fruit and reach their maturity from 100 or 150 years. There are even cases of chestnut trees thousands of years old. It is an amazing tree, about 25 to 45 meters high.
