Burgundy Delight

Pansies are a lovely flower I like to have in my garden. The only downsize is they are annuals. You have to plant them each year. Unlike perennials, you plant them once, cut them back, and they return the next year.

Not sure why they are called Pansies, they will survive the snow, they are very hardy flowers. Pansies come in a variety of colors.

My neighbor visited earlier and showed me some pansies she bought to plant in her garden. This burgundy color was just beautiful. I told her it was a little early to plant as we still have cold weather coming. But she has decided to take a chance and going ahead with her planting.

Be an independent thinker at all times, and ignore anyone who attempts to define you in a limiting way. ~Sherry Argov

  1. Yes, well the garden is always continual work, We had no rain for about 6 weeks then 2 days rain and now it doesn’t look like much rain at all, so at least having to hose the garden about once a day or once every 2 days.
