These apples are from my garden, these are known as ‘Bravo de Esmolfe’ apple, it is native from my region. It is a small autumn apple with intense aroma and soft pulp and it is my favorite apple. As the origin of this apple is portuguese I have no idea if it exists in other countries.
Since 1994, “Bravo de Esmolfe” apple has a Protected Designation of Origin, defined in European Union law.

I have had similar, but I am not sure whether they are the same. I prefer yellow apples, because they are sweeter in my opinion.
I know those apples, they aren’t my favorite but I like them.
Wow!!! That is a great crop you have there. Apples do not grow where we live. But we buy them occasionally We did get to see apples on trees when we visited Kashmir
never heard of them but, they sound interesting…
