Sharing with you a pictures of my (butterfly pea (Clitoria ternatea) , this one s blooming so abundantly at the moment. My Dahlberg daisies in the background are becoming a perennial source of worry to me, they are growing like weeds. I am currently having a lot of blues and pinks in my garden. The pink roses and my changing rose ( that is for another post)
I love the butterfly pea and had many planted in my garden but this cultivar doesn’t grow so well as the native one. I have been hunting lately for a pink butterfly pea cultivar, but no luck in that direction. I will post a picture of the purple and white cultivars too in the question box tell me which one you like.

I didn’t know there are so many colors for butterfly peas. We have blue ones in our garden. The daisies at the background look pretty too. 🙂
It is a gorgeous flower.
It is indeed. Thanks for stopping by.
i like the blue in the cover image best. Nice shots though!
Thanks doc, its always good to know peoples choices.
Are these Sweet Pea Flowers, they are my favourites and I love all the colours
No Pamela, these are not sweet pea, It called the butterfly pea, the botanical name is Clitoria ternatea.
There is yet another dark blue which is used to make edible dye. These grow wild here.
True the dark blue single petal shell like butterfly pea grows in the wild. These are cultivars and are hard to grow from seed.
Blue is always my favorite of all.
Thanks for letting me know your preference Carol, I love the blue too. I appreciate your stopping by to comment on all my posts.
All these flowers are great colors, dear, dear Dawn
Thank you Lado for you positive comments always. I appreciate them very much.
