I did this painting on my journey through Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bears are large mammals from the order of the beast. Mostly they are forest animals. Despite their heavy construction and awkward walking, bears are skilled runners, climbers, and swimmers. Unlike most beasts, they consume a lot of plant food. When hungry they attack large animals and can cause great harm to the flocks of cattle and sheep. For this reason, I did not dare to get too close to the fence. Truly it looks daunting. I do not want to meet a bear.
