I could never had imagined all the things that actually happened in this three days. I can say that I am still on track.  Someone of you recognized that there was a death in my family. What I didn’t say clearly is that is was not Bro ~ it was my father who came to see him.

I wrote my gratitude lists, I did things to make Bro happy and helped him deal with the events. He said something that I found interesting and thoughtful. Bro had to live through his daughter passing away. Dad never had to experience any of his passing away.  Bro was glad that Dad went first.

Still I realized that I am not prepared and I don’t how one can prepare for that. I just want to go first.

Here is what got accomplished.

~Go to physical therapy

~ Be kind, no matter what

~ Remember how hard it is to learn new skills

~ Do three chores I don’t enjoy and get them over with

~ Play a game that makes me smile

~ Learn more about Red Flag Laws

~ Do something to make a stranger happy

~ Do something to make my Bro happy

~ Do something to make me happy

  1. I try to expect the unexpected; but it’s usually a big blow. Also, it takes me a while to adjust to new situations, especially if it is bad news; and yes, try as I might, I still take a lot of things personally. You have a set of good goals.
