PECAN PIE
Another favorite of mine is the pecan pie. My photo above shows a pie just taken out of my oven.
I read about the origin of the pecan pie. Not surprised at what I found. It is a southern treat in the US.
It is popularly served at holiday meals in the United States and is considered a specialty of the southern United States.

I have often heard about this pie but never tried it or made it, I just notice below your post, Amazon is offering a whole pecan pie fro $28 now that is what I call trying to make money.
Oh wow, you are missing out, if you like pecans. It might cost close (but not that much!) to make one of these days, but the price of pecans have risen.
I love pies. My favorite is blueberry pie.
I love that one as well with cool whip.
