Perhaps a leap?
Pushing outward to
fall
slowly
until the
dust rising
and rising
fills the room.
Filled with water
the dust
becomes sand and
carries away the
memory
to leave
only the sound
of water dripping
and dust, settling
with a thud
it’s weight more
than the collapsing floor
can
handle
forever in the memory
of what is not there.
