The neighbor’s house burned to the ground. Thankfully, the entire family got out safely, but everything is simply gone. The fire hydrant had been covered with snow from the snowplow and in the darkness it took quite a long time to locate the hydrant and get the fire out. It is so very sad. I guess things can be replaced, but people cannot so we should all be thankful for that.

This is very sad about your neighbour’s house. It is good that the family are safe. But still, it’s sad that they’ve lost everything.
