I love animals and have had goats for pets. They are silly creatures, they love to climb trees when they are less than a year old. They are sure footed animals.
Surprisingly they can be trained to follow a routine and even obey commands. My pet goat Brownie used to sit and stand at command. She was like a dog and followed me everywhere. She would even come to school looking for me on some days.
I used to get bullied by the boys for having a pet goat. I really didn’t care or get offended by that too much. The girls used to play with my goat. I once got thrown out of school because Brownie just wouldn’t stop looking through the window and had the girls giggling like crazy. I got a day off from school, and in the sixth grade I thought that was a nice way to get a holiday.
In those days we called people whom we thought were creepy as goats. Now we call Greats Of All Time as goats. Hmm.. so much for the way we use language now.

I used to be a pet dog and a cat. We do not have these animals for pets.

I know many who have them for pets. They will eat the grass for you.

I accidentally clicked no for ever owning one. We did own one, he was a Boer goat. He was mean though.
A mean goat can be dangerous. I find the male goats more mean.
They are wonderful animals! I have a friend in Indiana that raised goats. He never had ot mow his lawn!
