Our neighbors do the most amazing haunted house every year. They have done it ever since they moved into the neighborhood many years before us. We walk by every year. Although, because of the vandalism in our neighborhood they put out the decorations later and later every year (and that makes me saad)/ It is one of our neighborhoods holiday traditions (there are two more houses that do something similar, it is fun to wander past them every year). Anyway, I thought I would post a festive holiday picture for today Halloween. Halloween is of course, not celebrated around the world, nor is it a recognized holiday. It is just one of those holidays that kind of exploded.
Anyone can join the photo challenge – point, shoot and share!
Happy Halloween (if you celebrate).

I always say Halloween is for the kids.
I agree. I think that is why it is more wistful as the kids get older.
I will think several times to visit that house for it is located in the middle of a haunted tomb…
yes, one year my neighbor put my name on one of the gravestones. She laughed about it for a couple of days.
Then, am I currently communicating with the real you, Doc?
I am the real Doc L-)
I am very happy then. That means your neighbor has spread a hoax. lol
We have good neighbors on all three sides (just trees on the back side of the house. Although they are not good neighbors constantly leaving stuff in our yard._) 🙂
Hmmm… can you decide whether they are good neighbors or not?
If we accept the criteria that neighbors are people you speak with, occasionally they need something or you need something and you provide that or they provide it, then yes you can.
Halloween is a nice day to celebrate and so cute for children to dress up.
Always fun, I love seeing what the kids wear as costumes…
