4. Okra is one of the few crops that aren’t grown here in Montana, in the summer. Our summers aren’t long enough and they’ve been getting shorter for the past decade or so.

   • Sorry to hear that. It’s almost growing all year here in our country.

     • I really don’t mind at all. I prefer having all four seasons. Also, we can grow many things that can’t be grown in places that don’t have a cold season. In fact, our rhubarb and asparagus does best when we have an especially harsh winter.
