Wander project what's on your cell phone?

The last nine pictures I’ve taken and shared here on Virily (and other places). First off, it is heavy with flowers and trees. It is spring, and I am addicted to seeing and capturing flowers and trees right now. In part because of the influence of seeing posts and pictures shared on the internet of trees right now. The power of suggested imaging is to blame. Wandering the images, they are from inside our home and from our walking trail. The walking trail is something that gets discussed and argued often. The Labs wish at times, to go further, the twins at all times wish to go shorter. You can imagine the frequent Donnybrook that occurs between the two forces (longer walks, shorter walks).

Spring has arrived in the Maryland area finally. Now, the Labs (and the twins funny they agree on this issue) are pushing to have the air conditing on. Due, however to the impending new roof installation, we are going to be Solar Power free for the next 35 days. That means paying a higher electric bill, and I am not looking forward to that. The cost of power is something I can normally control (Solar Panels) that now I have to grin and pay (power company). I would love to think there is a life lesson there, but all I can get from this is Wind isn’t fair. Without the March wind storm that forced us to replace the entire roof of our house, we wouldn’t be in this position.

Life sometimes is not fair.

I guess that is the lesson I should get form this. Life isn’t always fair. I know that the power bill in June is going to be painful. Anyway, the last nine pictures are ones that I have also shared as part of the photo challenge but are not the only pictures I’ve taken. In the past few weeks, with boating season and the Light City Festival in Baltimore, I’ve taken quite a few pictures. I won’t dump all of those directly, I have shared them in various other posts. I will note however that as part of the wander project the most important thing is to share the pictures. The quality of any one picture is always high or low, but it doesn’t matter, what matters is getting them out so that others can see. The artist will always be the harshest critic of their work! Share the pictures you have, and don’t worry about quality~

  1. You have opened a gap in my problems bag. I have so many pictures, or the rest of the image from the selection after the featured picture is displayed. So much I have deleted, the rest I put in some external hard disk. Imagine, for example, if for a 365 challenge I only need one picture but at least I have caught ten pictures, how many are left? Not yet for other posts…

  2. I agree, life is not fair. I have said this many times and will continue saying it every time I lose a loved one. But I am learning to say things like, it is what it is, and earning to accept things I cannot change. Another difficult but necessary task we must go through.

    • A very important skill and life lesson. It is one that all of us struggle with and few of us are successful. I know I am still in the midst of that struggle.
