Wander project the last 10 or so pictures I've taken!

One of the big rules of the family history project I created, shares the pictures. Every single picture including the ones that are of thumbs, and missed opportunities. The ones that are blurry and badly framed, and if possible the occasional good picture. Today I am calling this wander project wandering from dogs to flowers to dogs, to tech to food. Mostly because those are the last few pictures I’ve taken. We start with my dog, ready to go on his walk. It is funny; when he first joined our house six years ago, he was always waiting for his walk. Now, six years later, he is still waiting for his walk. It is the one thing he does every day that makes him happy. He loves the walk, walks, walks!

Some of the flower pictures were literally by accident. Some I had walked by 20 times and had not seen them. The beautiful orange flower was while we were out and about one day. I walked into the planter and then saw the flower. I guess that is happenstance photography. Sometimes the best pictures you get are the ones you get by accident. As we wander through the pictures today, we have a couple more of the dogs, my dog and my daughter’s dog featured in this blast. My daughter’s dog and I don’t see eye to eye on protective services. She believes that barking at everything that moves is a critical component of everything she does. I don’t, ergo the argument we occasionally have.

Finally, we end up with Fish and Chips and the best Coleslaw and Tartar sauce.  DJ’s is the caterer we selected for the wedding. (Wadding, is the term used in the fabulous movie Father of the Bride starring Steve Martin. Yes, there are other people in the movie, but it is Steve Martin. Plus he is the dad in the movie, and I can associate with being the father of the bride)! Interesting story, yesterday one of the twins and I hopped in the van. We had always gone to DJ’s after either being in Frederick or from our house. We went from our house, but due to traffic conditions the GPS took us a different way on Friday. We ended up on this little road that runs by the river, and frankly a road that literally becomes a one lane road without warning. Luckily nobody was coming the other way!

  1. Great memories through beautiful pictures. The flowers are gorgeous but I am very partial to the dogs especially the one who is out and about who brings you out for a walk. At least that is how I see it, dogs not only love to go out for walks but I am sure that they think their owners need one too.

  2. Good memories and photos. Love the hibiscus and the purple flower. It is great having your loyal companion to remind you to take walks as well.

  3. You never mentioned how good the potato salad was… My stomach is growling now. What a gorgeous Hibiscus flower, and the primrose. Great shots, some I recognize from other posts, too.
