The metropolitan era began. More than half of the world’s population currently lives in cities and does not intend to return to villages. At the forefront of China, today’s global cities are rising in population, and these are becoming engines of the global economy.
I invite you to look at the top ten most dynamic future cities by McKinsey Global Institute. If you look at this list, you will find that most dynamic cities are located in China. China is growing rapidly. Not in vain, many say that China will rule the world in the near future. Shanghai, Pekin, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing… China cities occupy more than half of the most dynamic cities list. And if to look at those cities, all they shine in luxury. of course, it does not mean that all people living there are rich. Anyway, the list is interesting enough.
Every city has its own face and anxiety. The shame and misery. The more residents in one city, the more problems are. Talk about China. You are thinking that people go there with masks because of pollution. From the universe, you can not see the bright city at night, etc .. .
China is making great strides in reducing pollution. I just wish they would put as much energy into respecting human rights and dignity.
Nice post! All of the cities look amazing and luxurious even though they must be overcrowded.
Fascinating pictures and of course amazing infrastructure but the phrase “Concrete jungle” does come to the mind. I prefer places with more greenery and less manmade structures.
I’d love to visit most of these cities, but definitely New York and Moscow would be at the top of my list.
