On January 1st, the temperature was mild. My husband and I decided to go into Boston for the day. Boston was more crowded than usual, as the First Night ice sculptures remained on display in Coply Square. This sculpture was so stunning – a Great White Shark standing behind Trinity Episcopal Church. We passed by Boston Pubic Library and Old South Church. We could feel the mood of the crowd which was still celebrating the events out on the streets. We were lucky enough to have parked in a spot that wasn’t a tow away zone! Boston police weren’t so preoccupied about the parked cars that morning.
