OK let’s talk some college football. Some Illinois Fighting Illini football to be exact. Though, I did enjoy our 2019 season even with our redbox bowl 35 – 20 loss against California Golden Bears. I feel that the fighting Illini is more capable of having a better 2020 season than 2019, if college football were to go about this year. As a die hard, it warms my heart knowing that we have quarterback Brandon Peters returning as well as Josh Imatorbhebhe, Trevon Sydney, and Ricky smalling who compliments Peters on the offensive side.
What I really anticipate seeing are some of our sophmores getting more play time, being that they have gotten little as freshman last season. I personally believe Isaiah Williams holds a lot of potential for the orange and blue as he could very well be a component on the field as well as for future talent out of Trinity Catholic high School, which as of late has been a hot market for the Fighting Illini.

I’m glad that the Illini are finally making moves in recruiting.
Plenty of time to grow, and he is a duel threat. He’s a reason why Illini vs Mizzou needs to be a rivalry. I am putting together an article on that too. Its recruiting, conference, and bragging rights.
I’m excited to watch them vs Northwestern this year if we do have a football season.
