Today was the warmest day for us this year. The temperature was about 40 degrees Celsius so that air conditioning is not much help.
Through my place flows the Alps River Kokra which is always cold for me. I bathed in her as a child.
The river surrounds both sides of the forest so that I often go for a walk because it is pleasantly cold. 
Today, too, I went to the river to make it easier for me to spend a really hot day.
I enjoyed the pleasant shade of the forest, and I was irrigating my legs in the river, which was still cold despite the heat. 
We are enjoying the last few weeks of warm weather now before snow takes over!
