It felt great to get out on the trail this afternoon. I did contemplate on riding my bike, but I wanted to put the final touches on my Yelp review of Sunset Bridge Meadow that I drafted up last night. While putting together the review for this trailhead, I discovered that the Des Plaines River Trail extends up to the state line of Wisconsin which just encourages me more to train for upcoming marathons versus anywhere else. What kills me is that they do not have trail races along the Des Plaines River Trail which oozes with potential.
Underpass blocked due to flooding.
After completing my run, I felt that it is that time to switch things up since the trails are becoming a hot spot for families that solely want to get out of the house.

I keep forgetting to check out your new posts on your WordPress site. I’m back to being locked in. How did you like the NFL Draft?
Some of the posts are similar to what’s on here. My earlier posts on WordPress are different though.
I am hearing a lot about how good the defense will be this year. Not familiar with some of the new players, but will research them. I do think its cool that we have another Mack being that Khalil made so much noise. I’ll have to look Cole Kmet up and see what he did at Notre Dame.
Kmet is pretty good. Look at his highlights against Georgia and you will be pumped about that pick.
It kills me that none of our Illinois teams snag top talented players. None wanna stay in the state, lol.
Yeah, it’s crazy that the first player drafted that played at an Illinois college was the safety from Southern Illinois.
That’s just sad! You’d think that Northwestern would be a dominant team than they are. And NIU, I can’t even urge myself to watch any of their games.
Yeah, they both fell off. Minnesota and Iowa about to run that Big Ten West for a while.
Hoping that Minnesota makes it to the Big Ten Championship this season. You know what also. In a few years the college football championship will be in Indy.
I would definitely try to go to that if they have it in Indy. That city is very under-rated.
That is crazy; never knew that
I am sure that I will look into the prices once it opens up. And I will also listen on the radio for tickets being given out. It will be interesting to see how some of those teams play in our weather that we get up here. Teams like Alabama, who avoid coming up to the midwest or any place far from the south. We all know what happens when they come up here.
Yeah, those teams from the South do not like playing in cold weather at all. It’s more based on fear though because players end up playing in cold places in the NFL anyway. Almost all of the ’85 Bears defense went to schools in the South except for Dave Duerson, who went to Notre Dame.
I do hope that Ohio State makes it to the championship in 2022 (https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/2017/11/01/indianapolis-host-2022-college-football-playoff-national-championship-game/822320001/)
Their only obstacle is that they have to find another QB in the 2021 season because Fields is about to put in work next season.
Always good to see you out exercising.
Other than being at work, it is one of the few things I can do to cope with what is going on.
