I went to an Art Exhibition this morning and we were not allowed to take photos.
However, this place was in Titirangi and the place is swamped with Chickens and they were all over the road and frankly I wanted to pinch the Chickens…There was even one with small chickens.
These are taking over Titirangi and have now become a nuisance, but I like them.
However, as I have not downloaded the Chickens yet, here is one that is by the Brynderwyn lookout up North. The Brynderwyn hills are ranges just before descending to go North to Whangarei city.
There were only a few that day.
That’s a very nice looking chicken, she has pretty colors.
Thanks so much Tzwrites
I hope to visit Rio Safari in Elche Spain in the week of 19 to 26.08 and take many pictures of birds and animals. This cock is wonderful.
Thanks Elenka, I am looking forward to viewing your photos…
Super shot. We have fewer chickens in our country. A few years ago, every farm owned them.
Thanks Vidocka, they went wild and bred . It got out of hand and now they are a pest.
I don’t know if he is a chicken or he is a cock … whatever is beautiful, my dear friend
I suspect it is a Cock. glad you like it Lado,
Cool chicken, my grandparents had these growing up.
Yes, I like hens that lay eggs, my sister has 3 hens that lay eggs and there is no rooster in sight. Thanks Carol.
35 years ago there was a hurricane that hit the islands of Hawaii. Chicken coops were destroyed. They have had wild chickens ever since!
Yes, chickens love walking free range…however they can multiply as well… Hens of my sister walk in her paddocks with the sheep but they have a hen house to lay their eggs.
Thanks so much Doc,…..
He looks awesome this cock .
yes, he certainly is, Thanks Dawn..
This reminds me of my loose chickens last year. They are gone now for the empty lot is already in use.
Sad, hope your next chickens produce fresh eggs for you…Nothing wrong with supermarket eggs but free range tastes better because the chickens are happier.
This fellow is quite huge We kept one as pet and he lived for 12 years.
That is great to hear, birds can live well if they are looked after properly…Thanks Grace
