I am not talking about food.. Although I do like leftovers.. These are just a few left over pictures I had left over from my hike a week ago.
This little rock outcropping had so much color in it, I had to take a picture.
Looking down into a canyon…
Panning right..the canyon has water in it.
Here is a little closer shot of the water. It’s very clear!
Jagged edges of boulders hanging over the bluff. Aren’t they a lovely color?
More pretty rocks.
These have a high content of copper in them, making them green and red.
Still panning to the right you see the bluff face on in another little valley.
The no trespassing sign on BLM land..penal code 602.. you don’t want to mess with the Bureau of Land Management.. I do try to stay out of places they have marked no trespassing.
The bluff a little closer.
But I sure would love to get down there..
I hope you enjoyed these random shots. Have a great day.
The nature looks spectacular!! It seems like a calm and beautiful place
Thank you Elena, it was a spectacular view from up there… A little wilderness tucked into hills, it was a great find.
Love all the scenery a lot.
wow so beautiful, I have hiked around southern California (a few years ago) when I was on a project out there (just south of LA)
You can get in trouble hiking just south of LA ya’know. Dang base is picky about who they let walk the hills. hahaha. You prob werent talking about CP. I went on a hiking trail just south of the san onofre a few months back.. It is pretty up there too.l
My kind of leftovers Kim. Such beautiful terrain and views.
Way less fattening right? Thank you Carol, my pleasure to share with you!!
Nice scenery there!!
Interesting boulders forming …
Thank you alibb. You’ve heard of the ring of fire? We have so much volcanic areas the rocks are amazing. There is a lot of blue tourmaline in the hills too!
Hear of the term in Geo class but then still need to google about it :p
It’s both good and bad I guess, you get nice sceneries, land forms and materials but nature disaster as well …
You will learn about it in class!
