While this Green Stink Bug probably thinks that he’s blending in, that’s not exactly the case in this particular instance. The leaves that he’s hanging out on aren’t exactly green. However, they provide a nice contrast for a picture or two. As their name indicates, these little guys excrete a gross smelling liquid when threatened. Evidently, their stink glands are large for a bug of this size, hence the name. Thankfully, this little guy wasn’t too upset about getting his picture taken. Whew! Native to North America, I found this one perusing our plum tree. Check him out. Don’t scare him!
