After work trail run at Humboldt Park

Being that the new job I hold is so much of a relief of stress, I have gotten in my workouts consistently this week. I pack my workout clothing with me the evening before work, then decide where I want to run once I’am off in the morning. It feels so great!

Paseo Boricua

For all reading this, Humboldt Park is dominantly a Hispanic neighborhood. What you see here is the entrance to ‘Paseo Boricua‘ beyond the steel Puerto Rican flag. The entire sector is dedicated to Puerto Rican pride and has a walk of fame with the names of many notable Puerto Ricans. And many of the businesses are named after Puerto Rican towns.

It has been a while since I have ran beyond the steel flags, but in the future I will share with you what it looks like.

“I don’t run to add days to my life, I run to add life to my days.”Ronald Rook

Before leaving work I weighed myself in to find that I weighed 138! My weight has been up-and-down as of late since I have been running consistently.
