As part of my tradition and job I have to attend at least 20 seminars a year. The company pays for it. We cannot go to any sponsored by our company. Notes and impressions have to be turned in a timely fashion.
At the beginning of the year I pick my top 30 and put them in a jar. I draw out 20 and those are the ones I attend.
The most recent one I went to was “Fight and Fight Fair”. It was all about conflict resolution and I really enjoyed it. It was very helpful to examine opinions and different ways to word things.
I think it will be helpful at work and at home. It’s nice when things work out that way. It also give me a lot of different ideas to work with.
It is great that you have the chance to attend these seminars and you can learn so much
It’s good that you have the opportunity to attend seminars. I think it’s really important to learn resolution conflict. As a parent, I think I am facing this challenge everyday and I would love to learn how to solve the challenges. 😛
The fight is part of the motivation in nature, unfortunately only humans who like to fight unfair. So, that sure is an interesting topic.
i have been taking a leadership class at work lately. The interesting problem we have been considering is that concept.
fight, but fight fair.
So far all of us have agreed it is important. But none of the managers have an idea how to do it.
Thank you very much. You say it benefits you too.
What do they mean to husbands whose wife constantly “calls” bothers him.
Conflict resolution courses are useful for dealing effectively with the public and co-workers.
I remember a tip that went along the lines of “use I instead of You to not appear too aggressive” but I sometimes feel like I may sound too self-centered. ?
I have no doubt it was an interesting seminar, it made me curious! I hardly ever regret having said what I said but how I said it, that makes sense.
